ETRO Fall/Winter 2012-13: “Lady Paisley” Collection

We really enjoyed watching the Veronica Etro Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection from Milan’s Fashion Week.  The collection was feminine and womanly.

Etro’s looks are easily translated for all sizes and most heights.  The high waist of the peplem jackets and long skirts are flattering and have a modern in feeling.  Velvets, cashmere, paisley and burn-out lace patterns give this collection a very rich look.

We were inspired!

Spring Accessory Spring with Vera Bradley – 2012

I don’t know if it is the unusually warm weather here in NYC for winter 2012 or that we are just ready to be out of doors but we are loving the Vera Bradley Spring 2012 video. (The little girls are just too cute.)

The Inn on Mackinac as background is perfect for showing the new playful prints for Spring 2012.

  • Rosey Posies are just that. A playful mix in rose and pink hues with a ribbon of gold.
  • Island Blooms is a fresh pattern. Teal with the pop of white full bloom flowers and light lime leaves. In this patter we especially love the beach bag with the plastic insert and the oversized scarf.
  • Camella is a taupe, tan and grey pattern played out with a central leaf vine design on a black ground. The snap top clutch that the bride is carrying is perfect for ALMOST any occasion.
  • Ellie Blue is a clean combination of blue hues from deep to pale and a sunny yellow/creamy white detail. Included in the patter is a very playful lucky elephant. From diaper bag to iPad cover, this pattern is featured in the most styles.

This video is playful and great to watch. It makes me think back to a time when a tiny purse and a pair of shoes with little straps were all I ever wanted.  Hold on, I think that was yesterday…

If for no other reason, watch it to get you in the spring time frame of mind.
