Red Carpet Ready: Jada Pinkett Smith in Emilio Pucci

That gold color is amazing on her!  You know that you are a Super Star when you can get the designer to take runway and make it YOUR way.  Excellent choice to go long with this fitted number.  We all know that she is a petite woman but this dress makes her look 6 ft tall.

The Met Ball 2012: Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations

Today is the day!  Met Ball watchers be on the lookout. The Met’s Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition will be well attended by the glitteratti and we are all expecting the usual suspects to show up (Rachel Zoe, Heidi Klum, Donna Karen and the like).  Would it suprise you to know that Tim Tebow, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony are also expected to be in attendance.  I find it less than fashion worthy but interesting none the less.

In addition, for the first time many of us will be among the first to see what’s what even if it is only by streaming video. Vogue‘s William Norwich and Elettra Wiedemann will be hosting the video event and interviewing the arrivals. I am sure that you would love to see it too.  Check out all the fashion fallout at: http://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/listings/2012/impossible-conversations/audio-and-video and let us know what you think.  Don’t forget to have your Twitter up so that you can #MetQuestions your questions. You can also follow us on Facebook for all the updates (https://www.facebook.com/FashionPressPass)

You can rest asured that we will bring you all the styling, the hair and the jewels we can capture.  See you on the red carpet.

Red Carpet Ready: Ginnifer Goodwin In H&M Glamour Collection

We are loving the new H&M Eco-Friendly Sustainable styles.

This raw-edged asymmetrical ruffled skirt number that Ginnifer wore to the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner is classy and totally red carpet ready.  Her legs have the illusion of going on forever but we are not sure if the black belt was the right way to go.  The black line crops her torso in a non-flattering way.  Perhaps it would have been better styled like the model with no belt and an amazing statement neck.

Check all the looks out at HM.Com but please note that in the USA you can not purchase online.Red Carpet Ready: Ginnifer Goodwin In H&M Glamour Collection

This Season’s Must Haves: Vanessa Bruno

Vanessa Bruno’s style has a built-in Boho quality with a classic edge.  We particularly loved the easy to wear pieces we picked for our style sheet.

The ease of the short sleeve lace band across the chest and the gentle A-line easily  makes the white dress a SP/SU basic that can go to the office with a sweet crop jacket of any color and coordinating shoe from kitten heel to platform pump.

The warmth of the orange sleeveless tunic with  drop waist drawstring would be well styled with an oversized basket weave tote, 3/4 length leggings and ballet flats or a clutch and gladiators for movie night.

Enjoy.

In the office today listening to The Best of The 80’s and reliving great memories… oops! I think we just dated ourselves!  Anyway, here are a few great current looks inspired by some equally great old memories.

We love it so much that we think this layout will  become one of our staples. Enjoy!
