A great night was had by all but not much shopping. I truly enjoyed the energy of the evening here in NYC but found that it was a little more about experience than purchasing. I am sure that others found things to love for years to come. Perhaps it’s the fact that I am always looking for amazing items that make me a little slower to pull out the wallet during an event of this nature. What did you find??
Today is the day! Met Ball watchers be on the lookout. The Met’s Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition will be well attended by the glitteratti and we are all expecting the usual suspects to show up (Rachel Zoe, Heidi Klum, Donna Karen and the like). Would it suprise you to know that Tim Tebow, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony are also expected to be in attendance. I find it less than fashion worthy but interesting none the less.
In addition, for the first time many of us will be among the first to see what’s what even if it is only by streaming video. Vogue‘s William Norwich and Elettra Wiedemann will be hosting the video event and interviewing the arrivals. I am sure that you would love to see it too. Check out all the fashion fallout at: http://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/listings/2012/impossible-conversations/audio-and-video and let us know what you think.
