Hermès | Spring Summer 2014 Full Fashion Show
The Hermes Spring Summer 2014 show was a bit dark in terms of tones and very flowing and oversized. There were many very wearable separates but overall not my cup of tea. Will be interesting to see what the Stylist and Fashionistas pick as standouts.

Christian Dior | Haute Couture Spring Summer 2014 Full Show
I saw many looks at this show that would work for press appearances and movie releases as well as looks that with minor modifications would work for us ‘regular’ folks. Overall it was light, clean and beautiful.

Fashion’s Night Out 201: Wintour & Beckham
A great night was had by all but not much shopping. I truly enjoyed the energy of the evening here in NYC but found that it was a little more about experience than purchasing. I am sure that others found things to love for years to come. Perhaps it’s the fact that I am always looking for amazing items that make me a little slower to pull out the wallet during an event of this nature. What did you find??

ETRO Fall/Winter 2012-13: “Lady Paisley” Collection
We really enjoyed watching the Veronica Etro Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection from Milan’s Fashion Week. The collection was feminine and womanly.
Etro’s looks are easily translated for all sizes and most heights. The high waist of the peplem jackets and long skirts are flattering and have a modern in feeling. Velvets, cashmere, paisley and burn-out lace patterns give this collection a very rich look.
We were inspired!
